Apologies for not posting yesterday but I realised that I'd never be able to weigh in on a Sunday & also needed a day to recover from the previous week so instead of weighing in, I watched 10hrs of LOTR extended edition. While it wasn't a day for exercise, I did break one of the worst habits my husband and I have developed which is pigging out on 7-11 type food while having a rest day/watching movies. We ate clean all day and I hit my target of 1500 calories exactly. Not only was I guilt free, but I enjoyed the food too!
Got to the gym today and had planned on starting with a spin class, however 15 minutes in I got sick (saw stars and nearly threw up) and had to walk out. Embarrassing AND frustrating. Instead of going home though, I waited to recover and got straight into my legs work out and managed to do a good 90 mins exercise all up. Not bad considering.
The weigh in was a nice surprise - I was expecting to have put on weight since my last weigh in (seeing I've been hitting nearly 3000 calories regularly) but somehow came in at 59.8kg (-0.2kg). I guess it shows that it's not quite as simple as calories in vs calories out because technically I should have put on about half a kilo. I haven't done my body fat but I imagine it'll be fairly similar (19% tops) and I'm aiming for 13% so I have about 6% to lose. According to my calculations, I should only need to hit 56kg to reach 13% BF but that's only if I retain all my muscle which is unlikely so I'm aiming for 55kg which is still under 1kg to lose per week and very safe/doable.
Once I have my exact BF measurement I'll post my updated table & will also put up other measurements, photos & my sample diet & exercise plan. Don't expect it all to be up tonight however as I still have 2hrs of Lord of the Rings to watch before we finally finish the trilogy!!
